"The service MHC provides gives me peace of mind knowing that all of our bases are covered. It's nice to know MHC will be right there during the actual compliance inspection."

Training Workshops

A water or wastewater facility operator’s failure to understand and perform the recurring RMP requirements is the most common violation of the RMP standard. After assisting our clients with Federal and state agency inspections for more than a decade, we have clearly defined what the EPA expects to be documented to address each element of the standard. With this experience, we developed the "EPA Risk Management Program - Internal Auditing for Water and Wastewater Facilities" training workshop.

The workshop is designed to share our experience and help water and wastewater facility operators evaluate their RMPs to identify and correct deficiencies that could result in a citation in the event of an EPA or state inspection. Participants in these workshops are facility personnel involved in Risk Management Program implementation, including managers, supervisors, engineers, and operators. This workshop is approved for continuing education credits in all training location states.

What You Will Learn

These workshops are designed to help participants:

  • Learn how to conduct an internal Compliance Audit using the EPA RMP Inspection Checklist, so your facilities will always be in compliance;
  • Identify any specific deficiencies that may exist in your program and how to correct them and be prepared for an EPA inspection;
