RMP Compliance Audits

What we do for you

Compliance audits are automatically included in our RMP Compliance Program, which is the best way to get and keep your facility in full compliance with mandatory RMP regulations. However, if your facility needs only a compliance audit update, then we can easily assist you with that.

Our Compliance Specialists work closely with your staff to audit your current documentation and implementation of the RMP. We then provide you a detailed report including specific statutory references, findings, and recommendations to obtain compliance.

With a pending EPA inspection occurring only days after we entered an agreement with MunicipalH2O, they were able to quickly help us organize our records and documents. They really simplified the RMP requirements and the inspection process.

What is an RMP Compliance Audit?

Compliance Audits are legally required self-audits of your RMP documentation and record keeping. These audits are required every 3 years and need to be documented with thorough reports identifying corrections of deficiencies.

When you are inspected by regulatory agencies, your facility will be audited for all the primary elements of the Risk Management Program. Therefore, while federal and state laws only require that a compliance audit be conducted on the RMP Prevention Program, MunicipalH2O goes the “extra mile” and audits all 5 elements of your RMP including:

Management System

Prevention Program

Hazard Assessment

Emergency Response
